Use Your Video Content To Inspire

Posted on February 23rd, 2012 | Leave a Comment

You don’t need to find inspiration for your corporate videos in other corporate videos. I was reminded of this yesterday when I was posting a few things to our Pinterest board.

This is my favorite video from last football season. It was produced by the University of Southern California, and it’s an inspirational speech delivered by the Trojans’ defensive line coach EdĀ Orgeron prior to defeating the 4th ranked Oregon Ducks.

Don’t look at this as a football video. It’s simply an inspirational message. He’s trying to motivate his players, and the video was meant to fire up fans leading into the game. These are things I hope our business leaders are doing everyday.

Give your employees a pep talk. Fire up your customers. Be an industry leader.

Video is your way to deliver those messages.

Communication Goal Setting For 2012

Posted on December 5th, 2011 | Leave a Comment

Is your company or organizations setting goals for 2012? If one of them is to communicate better, video might be your answer.

Whether you’re attempting to position yourself in front of customers or trying to send an important message to employees… video can do the job and do it in a way that’s better than words alone.

Video delivers information, but it also does it in a way that makes an impact on the audience. It’s not some simple message that gets thrown in the trash. A video makes people sit up and pay attention.

How’s that for satisfying your communication goals?
